Menopause Workshops

I am delighted to now be able to offer in-person and online workshops. Each workshop last 3 hrs or a whole and is based around a particular theme, area, subject within the whole realm of menopause. The menopause is such a vast subject and I have so much information that I would like to share with you. I find running workshops are a great way to do just that.
In my workshops we always begin by opening the space with a women’s circle – setting our intention for the group/workshop and creating a safe space for all who come; to open, share and receive. After the circle opening, we share information and experiences and discuss the theme of the workshop and I offer tools and resources to help support you in your transition. We then always make time for menopause yoga. Yoga that is designed for you, your changing body and the stage you are at on your menopause journey. We practise beautifully flowing yin poses with nurturing and calming restorative practice. And always end our yoga practice with nurturing and restorative yoga nidra/deep relaxation, calming and balancing breath work, empowering meditations and inspiring and soothing readings and poems. Towards the end of each session, I also always make quiet time for self reflection and journalling, this is such an important tool that can support us greatly during our transition. It is also a really important time at the end of our workshop that allows a quiet space for us to reflect on our learning and insights gained during our time together.
When the circle is closed at the end of a workshop, it is my hope that all aspects of your being will have been nourished, and touched in a deeply soothing, nurturing and healing way. For your Spirit: It is my hope that you will have found a deeper reconnection with your true self, your innate wisdom and divine feminine essence within. For your body: it is my hope that you will have learnt news ways of understanding the process that your body is going through. That will have learnt news ways of listening to, supporting and healing your body. For your mind: It is my hope that you will have learnt a new way/perspective of viewing the menopause transition that enable you to calm your mind’s thoughts, worries, anxieties and concerns so that you can find inner peace in your mind and create more space and moments of silence in your mind for you to connect to the wisdom of your truth and being that is wanting to be heard at this time. And for your emotions: it is my hope that being held in a nurturing space of love, and grace that each and everyone of your inner voices of pain, hurt and trauma will have been given the chance to be met, held and heard if not this time in this group but maybe in the next or even now with the tools, resources and awareness that you have, by your self in your own safe space that you can create for yourself at home. …. And, finally for your heart: it is my hope that you find a sense of deeper love and connection to yourself and others. A connection that allows you to continue your journey of self healing, self care and self support once we leave the workshop.
